AdiEscrow Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Adi Escrow currently offers two individual services, the Market Price Evaluation Service that provides an accurate and up-to-date market price evaluation of Cartier, Van Cleef & Arples, or Bvlgari jewelry, and the Escrow Service, a middleman service that ensures a smooth transaction (buying and selling), between the buyer and the seller.

• Market Price Evaluation Service

Via the Market Price Evaluation Service, Adi Escrow will provide an comprehensive evaluation of your Cartier, Van Cleef & Arples, and Bvlgari jewelry, by taking into accounts various aspects to provide a well-rounded price estimate, such as: brand reputation, materials, craftsmanship, item's condition, and current market trends.

• Escrow Service

The Escrow Service, operates on a middleman service structure, providing assistance to both the buyer, and the seller part of the transaction, while ensuring that aspects such as shipping, item's visual inspection, item's listing accuracy, and payment are done in a risk-free environment.

• 1.1 The buyer

The "buyer" refers to the individual or entity seeking to purchase a high-end jewelry piece through the escrow service provided by Adi Escrow.

• 1.2 The seller

The "seller" refers to the individual or entity offering the high-end jewelry items for sale, through the escrow service provided by Adi Escrow.

2. Service Fee

A non-refundable service fee is required for utilizing the Escrow Service, as well as the Market Price Evaluation Service, according to the following structure:• Market Price Evaluation Service fee is $50, billed per each item.• Escrow Service fee is $200, billed per each item.

The service fee is payable in one single transaction exclusively via Zelle or Wise, by the party that initiates the service request.

MPORTANT: THE ESCROW/MARKET PRICE EVALUATION SERVICE FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IN THE EVENT OF A PARTY CHANGING THEIR MIND, DECIDING NOT TO USE OUR SERVICE, OR BACKING OUT OF THE DEAL AFTER PAYMENT, THE FEE WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED.

Prior to this, buyer and seller could agree on splitting the cost of the service.

Additional details regarding the service fee will be provided upon inquiry or transaction initiation.

3. Initiation of Transaction

Initiation of transaction is done by the buyer or the seller contacting Adi Escrow using the embedded website contact form, or by directly emailing at adiescrow@gmail.com

For full transparency, communication between Adi Escrow and the additional two parties (buyer, and seller) will be done via email by CC-ing both parties (each party receiving a copy of each email).

The transaction's initiation is completed after Adi Escrow confirms the escrow fee payment, based on the structure mentioned above. (2.)

4. Information Required

The information required by Adi Escrow to sustain the delivery of each service depends on the requested service, as following:

• Market Price Evaluation Service

In order to fully deliver the Value Market Price Evaluation Service, Adi Escrow will require to receive detailed information about that specific item's model (name, reference number, year, serial number), condition (general, wear signs, damage, discrepancies between the original condition and the current one...), and also information about the additional accessories (box, papers, certificates of authenticity...) as well as detailed pictures that document all those stated above.

• Escrow Service

In order to fully deliver the Escrow Service, Adi Escrow will require the party that initiates the transaction to provide detailed information about that specific part-of-the-transaction item's model (name, reference number, year, serial number), condition (general, wear signs, damage, discrepancies between the original condition and the current one...), and also information about the additional accessories (box, papers, certificates of authenticity...) as well as detailed pictures that document all those stated above.

In addition to these, Adi Escrow must receive information about the item's listing or about the initial agreement between the seller and the buyer. (text copy, pictures).

5. Shipping to Adi Escrow

Prior to inspection, the seller will ship the item to Adi Escrow.

It is recommended that the seller will use FedEx to ship the item, and the delivery location will be either a FedEx pick-up location, disclosed via email.

It is recommended that the parcel will be fully insured, to cover potential risks during the transit stage.

Important: Customs fees or any additional fees (if applicable) incurred by shipping from outside of the United States, are not in the responsibility of Adi Escrow.

6. Inspection Process

During the inspection process, Adi Escrow will check that the item matches all the points mentioned in the initial item's description as well as those mentioned in the initial listing or initial agreement between the buyer and the seller.

Important: The Inspection process does not involve item's authentication. Adi Escrow does not provide an authentication service.

7. Inspection Approval & Payment Authorization

If the item meets the criteria established during the initial listing, and matches the description provided initially (model, size, condition, accessories) Adi Escrow provides approval for the transaction to proceed.

7.1 Inspection Approval

Approval signifies that the item has passed our inspection and is deemed suitable for purchase by the buyer.

7.2 Payment Authorization

Concurrently with approval, the buyer is granted authorization to proceed with payment to the seller.

The buyer will complete the payment by transferring the funds to the seller via Wise or Zelle only.

Important: Other payment methods are not accepted as they can be reversed with fraudulent chargeback actions.

Once completed, the buyer will document the payment proof using in-app screenshots or transaction statements.

8. Payment & Confirmation

Upon confirmation of payment by the seller, the transaction enters its final stages.

Payment confirmation serves as a trigger for Adi Escrow to release the item for shipping to the buyer, marking the completion of the sale process.

9. Shipping to Buyer

Once the payment confirmation is completed, Adi Escrow will release the item for shipping to the buyer.

The buyer's duty is to provide a pre-paid shipping label for the item, and once that is provided, the item will be shipped to the buyer, accordingly.

It is recommended that the parcel will be fully insured, to cover potential risks during the transit stage.

Important: Customs fees (if applicable) incurred by shipping outside of the United States, are not in the responsibility of Adi Escrow.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between the buyer and the seller, both parties are encouraged to communicate openly and attempt to resolve the issue amicably.

10.1 Adi Escrow Service Mediation

While Adi Escrow strives to facilitate smooth transactions, it does not take responsibility for disputes between parties.

However, in most cases Adi Escrow may offer mediation services upon request to help facilitate communication and reach a mutually agreeable resolution.

10.2 Neutral Mediation

Adi Escrow acts as a neutral facilitator during the mediation process, providing a platform for discussion without taking sides or assuming liability for the dispute’s outcome.

It’s important to note that the Adi Escrow’s involvement in dispute resolution is limited to providing a platform for communication.

The final decision on resolution rests with the involved parties, and Adi Escrow does not assume responsibility for the resolution’s outcome.

10.3 Legal Recourse

If parties are unable to resolve the dispute through mediation, they retain the right to seek legal recourse through appropriate channels.

Adi Escrow does not provide legal advice or representation and encourages parties to seek independent legal counsel if necessary.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Accurate Description and Inspection

Adi Escrow’s role is limited to verifying the accuracy of the item’s details as provided in the initial listing. Adi Escrow's does not authenticate the items for genuineness or quality beyond the information provided.

11.2 Third-Party Authentication

Buyer and seller are encouraged to seek professional third-party authentication services if authenticity is a concern.
Adi Escrow is not liable for any discrepancies in authenticity that may arise.

11.3 Shipping and Handling

Adi Escrow is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft occurring during the shipping process.
Buyers and sellers are encouraged to secure appropriate shipping insurance to cover potential risks during transit.

11.4 Financial Transactions

Adi Escrow is not liable for any issues related to the financial transactions between the buyer and seller. Each party should independently verify all payment details and confirm the transaction.

11.5 Disputes and Resolutions

Adi Escrow acts as a neutral third party and is not responsible for the resolution of disputes between the buyer and seller. The entire Disputes and Resolutions process is explained above (10.)

11.6 Force Majeure

Adi Escrow is not liable for disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as acts of nature, wars, or other events beyond the control of the Adi Escrow.

11.6 Maximum Liability

The maximum liability of Adi Escrow is limited to the service fee paid by the user and it is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Termination of Service

Adi Escrow reserves the right to terminate its services at any time, at its sole discretion, without prior notice or liability.

12.1 Termination Reasons

• Termination of service may occur for various reasons, including but not limited to:
• Violation of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
• Suspected fraudulent activity or misuse of the escrow service.
• Failure to comply with legal requirements or requests from regulatory authorities.
• Any other conduct deemed detrimental to the integrity or reputation of the Escrow Service.

12.2 Effect of Termination

In the event of termination, ongoing transactions may be suspended or canceled at Adi Escrow’s discretion.
Participants will be notified promptly of the termination and any necessary steps to conclude or transfer ongoing transactions.

12.3 No Liability

Adi Escrow's shall not be liable to any party for any termination of service, including but not limited to any losses, damages, or expenses incurred as a result.

12.4 Survival of Terms

Termination of service does not affect the validity or enforceability of any provisions contained in these terms and conditions that are intended to survive termination.

12.5 Notice of Termination

Adi Escrow may provide notice of termination via email or through a notice posted on its website, effective immediately upon issuance.
